Welcome to the Port Mahon

A WARM AND WELCOMING PUB IN THE ST. CLEMENTS AREA OF OXFORD.

The Port Mahon is a friendly traditional pub in East Oxford that offers up home cooked food, including fabulous Sunday roasts, as well as an eclectic range of events including a tonne of live music. Don't worry sports fans, our big screens in the lower bar also show Sky sports and ESPN so chances are are your favourite sporting event will also be on show. For those sunny Oxford days, we have a large decked garden area with picnic tables where a refreshing drink can be enjoyed late into the summer nights. In winter you can escape the cold beside our real log fire!

For those interested in such things, the Port Mahon was originally named to commemorate a battle during the Napoleonic wars. This battle happened off the Port of Mahon on Minorca. Mahon is the present day capital of the island and some say the birthplace of mayonnaise!

Our lower bar is also available for hire, so if you fancy a private party here then please get in touch! The Port Mahon is managed by Nick Bassett & Beccy Webb. Please use social media, email or simply ring us to get in touch.
